Here they are at last! Great singers from the world of WEST END musicals and drenched with soul have come together to pay tribute to the first and greatest 'boy band' of all time - THE TEMPTATIONS!

The Emperors of Soul are a group dedicated to re-creating the true essence and spirit of the Motown super group. Specially chosen artists united by their passion for the Temptations’ unique sound perform the early classics such as ‘My Girl’ and ‘The Way You Do the Things You Do’ right through to the later gems like ‘Cloud Nine’ and ‘Just My Imagination’.

As mentioned all members (currently performing as a quartet) are seasoned West End professionals assembled because of their individual and collective skills as well as their love of Soul music. You will hear the original harmonies, see stunning choreography and be enthralled by the songs that made the Temptations a household name.

The Emperors of Soul are quickly getting established in the corporate entertainment scene and are available for all kinds of public and private events.

Be prepared to have your socks knocked off with amazingly unforgettable music and sure-fire entertainment from Motown’s golden era.

A typical Emperor’s show consists of either 1 x 60 minutes or 2 x 45 minutes, performed to backing tracks. Additionally, each member of the group is in Equity and/or the Musicians' Union and they carry Public Liability Insurance up to £10 million.

Members of The Emperors have a fantastic wealth of experience, including:

West End credits: Whistle Down the Wind, Mama Mia (original cast), Lion King (London and Paris), Miss Saigon, Starlight Express, Porgy and Bess, Daddy Cool, Dancing in the Street, Five Guys Named Moe, Soul Train, Simply Heavenly.
 
Other credits: One is a former member of the Flying Pickets, Two are founding members of the ever-popular and in-demand Northern Soul group the ‘Four Vandals’, which is fronted by X-Factor winner Steve Brookstein, One has toured Europe and Asia extensively as a part of Lee John's group ‘Imagination’, One is a featured singer on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Recently, The Emperors of Soul were in the Semi-Finals of the BBC 1 talent quest to find the 2009 entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest, 'Your Country Needs You', which was presented by Graham Norton and judge led by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.
