About The Vernon Sisters

Coming from a family of no less than five generations of musicians, Rebecca, Sophia and Tasmin sang and played music from an early age, discovered their natural talent for 3-part harmony and developed their popular sound. Following in the footsteps of their ancestors, they decided on a career in music. Now, having been professional for eight years, the girls have used their invaluable experience to create a stunning array of shows, bringing together an eclectic mix of musical styles to suit all ears and all types of events.

The girls have used their talents and versatility to create all of the ingredients for these five musical cocktails. The collection of productions available ensures that you can mix and match cocktail combinations to perfectly suit your event requirements. For example, one could choose Mai Tai for a drinks reception and Pink Champagne during dinner. The girls also realise the importance of themes and colour schemes at such occasions and can synchronise their costumes accordingly.

The Vernon Sisters offer the five different musical productions outlined below.

PINK CHAMPAGNE – Seduced by sultry vocals and that ‘swing thing’, The Vernon Sisters created Pink Champagne to recapture the sound of a bygone era. This popular production features fantastic 3-part harmony vocals, piano, double bass and drums, performing Jazz and Latin standards from artistes such as The Andrews Sisters, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole.

RENAISSANCE – An innovative twist on the classic, featuring music through hundreds of years. With the timeless elegance of such instruments as the harp, flute and concert recorder, this production is a perfect alternative to a string quartet and very unusual. Renaissance brings a flavour of the past into the 21st Century with stunning period costumes and the option of beautiful vocals.

COSMOPOLITAN – Mixing the modern age with the swing of the past, the girls transform great songs from the popular music genre (such as ‘Beat It’ by Michael Jackson and ‘I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor’ by the Arctic Monkeys) into a jazz style. Playing piano, double bass and drums with their trademark harmonies.

MAI TAI – This production features favourite, easy listening classics (such as ‘Easy’ Lional Richie and ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ Simon and Garfunkel) for a mellow mood. Accompanied solely by piano, the incredible vocal harmonies shine through, creating the perfect laid back atmosphere.

MISTLETOE MARTINI – Songs for the spirit of Christmas, with piano, double bass, drums and the inimitable Vernon Sisters’ harmonies with a Christmas sparkle. Beautiful 3-part vocal harmony A Cappella (without accompaniment) renditions of Christmas Carols are available for the ultimate traditional touch.
